Joel Geffen is a photographic artist who currently resides in Ypsilanti, Michigan.  

His images are meditations.  They seek to simultaneously express an appreciation for chance encounters with the beautiful and a respect for the ways that such meetings can serve as a quiet places where one might find solace from life’s losses.
